If Fleetwood Mac’s "Dreams" were made today it would sound a lot like Small Black’s "Boys Life": soulful, sentimental, and the slightest bit disco. The song came out a few weeks in advance of the band’s third album, Best Blues, which was released on October 16th. In this record, Small Black wistfully explores loss as a theme, and the result is a soundtrack to nostalgia.
